What happens during a treatment?
At your initial appointment, I will conduct a detailed evaluation, develop a treatment plan incorporating an acupuncture prescription, herbs, and nutritional and lifestyle recommendations.
The acupuncture needles are sterile, superfine needles that are used based on your chief concern. They are the thickness of three hairs. During the treatment you will have the needles in for 25-30 minutes, in which sometimes patients fall asleep.
What happens after a treatment?
It is common to feel relaxed and a general wellbeing. Allow your body to rest. Drink plenty of water to support your body in healing.
How often should I get acupuncture?
Each person and health concern respond to treatment at a different pace. Acute conditions usually can be treated within 6-12 sessions, and chronic conditions can often take longer. I will provide you with an estimate based on your health issues after the initial consultation.
